Julia Roberts and Anne Hathaway brought true American glamor to the Cannes red carpet.
The two stole the show at the premiere of new film Armageddon Time, a period drama which stars Hathaway.
Hathaway plays a mother in 1980 Queens in the film which is based on director James Grays childhood.
She co-stars with Succession’s Jeremy Strong, who was also on the red carpet to celebrate the movie.
They posed with the two movie’s newcomers, their rebellious screen son Michael Banks Repeta and his character’s friend Jaylin Webb.
Roberts came as part of the Cannes tradition of other actors coming to show support at the festivals premieres and screenings.
The Pretty Woman star stunned in an all-black tuxedo-tailcoat and pants and is in Cannes to help mark its 75th festival.
The festival has seen a high-octane injection of American talent, with Tom Cruise screening Top Gun: Maverick before flying to London.
