Anya Taylor-Joy Confirms Surprise Role In ‘Dune: Part Two’ At London Premiere

Anya Taylor-Joy walked the red carpet at the premiere of Dune: Part Two in London on Thursday, and confirmed she appears in the film.
The surprise admission from the 27-year-old actress came in a red-carpet interview aired by Warner Bros. U.K. Taylor Joy can be seen wearing a flowing white dress and white veil that wraps around her face, reminiscent of bridal, or perhaps religious, attire.
Now, of course there is a reason that you’re joining us here … but you can’t say too much about it? the interviewer asks.
You’ll have to see the film, Taylor-Joy teases. Without specifics, she did confirm that she has a role in the film.
Having seen it, this is probably one of the best movies Ive seen in my entire life. Genuinely, Denis has killed it, its incredible, she said, speaking of writer–director Denis Villeneuve. This is a dream come true, you know? The books are incredible but with this cast and with Denis, it doesnt get any better than that.”
Dune: Part Two is a followup to the first installment released in 2021, based on Frank Herbert’s 1965 novel Dune and the series of books that followed. The first film starred Timothée Chalamet in the lead role, alongside Zendaya, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling and Javier Bardem, who are all returning in the sequel.
Joining them in Dune: Part Two are Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Christopher Walken, and Léa Seydoux, along with Taylor-Joy.
Taylor-Joy will also soon have another film coming to theaters, when Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is released in May 24. The Emmy-nominated actress is taking over the role of Imperator from Charlize Theron.
Dune: Part Two will hit theaters March 1.
