Gisele Bündchen was pulled over by a police officer in South Florida while apparently trying to evade paparazzi this week, and broke down in tears under the stress.
A body-worn camera video released by the Surfside Police Department showed an officer approaching the supermodel’s SUV on Wednesday and asking her to roll down her window.
There’s paparazzi right there, Bündchen, 43, tells the officer. He’s right there in that grey car.
OK, there’s nothing I can do about that, the officer says. He then approaches an SUV parked across the street, apparently a lurking paparazzo, and tells them to Leave my traffic stop.
When the officer returns to Bündchen’s vehicle, he tells her he’ll let her go as a courtesy.
I understand who you are, there’s nothing I can do about that, he says, apparently aware of her fame.
I know but he’s stalking me, she says.
OK, then file a report with Miami Beach, the officer says.
Bündchen breaks down in tears, apparently overwhelmed after being hounded by the photographer.
What do you need, why are you crying? the officer asks.
I’m so tired, everywhere I go I have this [expletive] guy after me, nothing protects me, Bündchen says through tears.
I can do nothing. I just want to live my life, she says.
I can’t prevent them from doing their job, which is to take pictures, the officer says.
I don’t even know how that’s allowed, Bündchen says.
Bündchen relocated to the Miami area when ex-husband Tom Brady un-retired from the NFL to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. The pair divorced in 2022 after 13 years of marriage. They co-parent son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11.
