Kourtney Kardashian Reveals ‘Urgent Fetal Surgery’ Pulled Travis Barker Away From Blink-182 Tour

Kourtney Kardashian on Wednesday revealed details of the “urgent family matter” that pulled husband Travis Parker away from Blink-182’s European tour last week.
In an Instagram post, Kardashian, 44, revealed she was hospitalized for “urgent fetal surgery.” She previously announced her pregnancy in June.
“I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life,” Kardashian wrote.
“I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this,” she said.
“As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant,” she said.
“Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing,” she wrote.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Barker said he would resume touring with his band on Friday.
“God is great. I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby that I’m so grateful went well,” he said. “I want to say thank you for all the support. Tour resumes Friday.”
On Sept. 1, while in Scotland, Blink-182 released a statement postponing several shows.
“Due to an urgent family matter, Travis has had to return home to the States. The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows are being postponed,” the band shared.
The 47-year-old drummer and his bandmates Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge are currently on a world tour after reuniting for this first time in more than a decade.
Kardashian and Barker had three separate weddings together after becoming engaged in 2021. It was Kardashian’s first marriage, and the third for Barker.
Their first child together will be the fourth overall for each of them.
Kardashian shares sons Reign Aston, 8, and Mason Dash, 13, and daughter Penelope Scotland, 11, with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. Barker shares son Landon, 19, daughter Alabama, 17 and stepdaughter Atiana, 24, with Shanna Moakler.
