Lacey Chabert is sticking with the Hallmark Channel, known to be the home of Christmas rom-coms, as other network stars defect to Great American Family.
“I found a real home in Hallmark,” the “Party of Five” alum said in an interview with Vulture. “Im able to be more of who I am here than possibly anywhere else Ive worked.”
“Full House” alum Candace Cameron Bure left Hallmark and said GAF would focus on “traditional marriage.” Hallmark produced its first Christmas movie with a same-sex couple this year.
Asked about the actors who left the network, Chabert said, “I wish everybody the best. I really cant comment on it further other than I care about everybody involved.”
She also said she sees herself as a “lifer” at the Hallmark Channel “as long as Im inspired by the stories and as long as theyll have me. I have ideas for 50 more.”
