Award-winning actress Emma Stone dreams of being on TV as herself, to compete on Jeopardy!
I apply every June, Stone, 35, revealed during Thursday’s episode of Variety’s Awards Circuit podcast.
I don’t want to go on ‘Celebrity Jeopardy!’ I want to earn my stripes, the Poor Things star said.
You can only take the test once a year with your email address, and I’ve never gotten on the show, Stone said.
The Curse star and producer shared how she practices in case she’s one day selected to be a contestant on the iconic game show that originally debuted in 1964.
I watch it every single night, and I mark down how many answers I get right. I swear, I could go on ‘Jeopardy!’ she said.
Stone won two awards at the 2024 Golden Globes last weekend: best film actress in a comedy or musical for her performance in Poor Things, and, as a producer of the film, which won best picture for a musical or comedy.
She is also nominated for the upcoming Screen Actors Guild Awards and Critics Choice Awards for Poor Things, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and co-starring Mark Ruffalo and Willem Dafoe.
