The man who stormed the stage and tackled Dave Chapelle during his May 3 performance at the Hollywood Bowl has been sentenced to 270 days in Los Angeles County jail.
Isaiah Lee, 24, was taken down by security and found to be carrying a replica gun with a folding knife blade.
Lee pleaded no contest to charges of misdemeanor battery and entering a restricted area during a live event.
An additional charge of attempted murder was filed in a separate incident, after a complainant identified Lee as his alleged attacker based on press coverage.
“The publicity generated by the attack on Mr. Chappelle helped police solve this crime,” Los Angeles County District Attorney Gascón said in a statement at the time.
