Patrick Mahomes Declares Taylor Swift Officially ‘Part Of Chiefs Kingdom’ Amid Travis Kelce Relationship

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes admitted that Travis Kelce’s teammates initially poked fun at him for dating Taylor Swift, but the songstress is now officially part of Chiefs Kingdom.
During an interview with CBS Mornings on Friday, Mahomes said there were definitely some jokes during the early stages of Kelce and Swift’s relationship.
“At first, I feel like everybody kind of stayed away, just let him do what he was doing,” Mahomes told host Nate Burleson.
“And then he started bringing Taylor around and you realize how cool of a person she was and she is. So for us — I mean, it was a couple of jokes here and there in the beginning — but now, shes just part of Chiefs Kingdom and shes part of the team, Mahomes said.
Kelce and Swift, both 34, first went public as a couple in September. Mahomes said it’s cool that the Grammy winner has since built a friendship with his wife, former pro soccer player Brittany Mahomes. The pair can often be seen in the VIP suites cheering for their beaus.
“So for me, its just Travis, man, and hes lucky enough to be with a great girl — and a great woman — and its been cool to kind of interact with her and see cause shes top tier of her profession and see how she drives and she becomes that,” Mahomes said.
“I have a firsthand look at that through Brittany and Travis eyes, Mahomes said. I think thats why her and Travis match so well.”
