Travis Kelce is reportedly in talks to host a reboot of the game show Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader? for Amazon Prime Video.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is in discussions to return to entertainment after previously starring in the Catching Kelce reality dating series and more recently appearing on Saturday Night Live. He also hosts a successful podcast with his older brother, Jason Kelce, who recently retired from the Philadelphia Eagles.
Variety was the first to report the news, which was later confirmed by People.
Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader? was originally hosted by comedian Jeff Foxworthy on Fox, and the reboot could be more celebrity-focused, according to Variety.
The original series aired for four total seasons on Fox, before a new version moved to Nickelodeon with host John Cena.
It’s unclear whether Kelce would be able to fit shooting in with his NFL commitments — or his jet-setting with pop star girlfriend Taylor Swift. And at 34 years old, he may be thinking ahead to potential retirement. His brother retired earlier this month at age 36.
