Actor Alan Ruck Involved In Multi-Vehicle Crash That Ended With Truck Inside Pizzeria

Actor Alan Ruck was involved in a multi-vehicle collision in Hollywood Tuesday night that resulted in a pickup truck slamming into a pizzeria.
The crash occurred shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard, and ended at Raffallo’s Pizza.
The Los Angeles Police Department said ambulances were called for a 40-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, but that there were no serious injuries. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a 32-year-old man was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
The Succession star, 67, remained at the scene of the crash, according to TMZ, which first reported his involvement.
Security video showed the Rivian R1T electric pickup truck rear-ending one car before turning a corner and colliding with an SUV. It ended up partially inside the pizzeria.
According to TMZ, the truck belonged to the Ferris Bueller’s Day Off star.
It’s unclear what led to the crash, or whether intoxication was a factor. Police said the crash is under investigation.
The fire department reported there was probable compromise of the structural integrity of the front of the pizzeria. The L.A. Department of Building and Safety responded to inspect the scene.
