Beyoncés Childhood Home Erupts In Flames On Christmas Morning

Houston firefighters were called to Beyoncés childhood home early Christmas morning after a fire broke out, and officials said the family now living there evacuated safely.
The Houston Fire Department responded to the famous brick house on the 2400 block of Rosedale Street in the city’s Third Ward at around 2 a.m. on Monday, and firefighters arrived to find the home’s second story fully engulfed in flames.
Per reports, the family with two small children self-evacuated, still wearing their Christmas pajamas, before firefighters arrived at the scene.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
When the three-bedroom house was listed in 2018 for $500,000, realtor Brad Upshaw told Good Morning America the Knowles family originally purchased it in 1982 and moved out when future pop superstar Beyoncé was around five years old.
In September, when the Renaissance World Tour stopped in her hometown, Beyoncé and her mother Tina Knowles reportedly stopped by the old family home to take photos.
