Shawn Mendes took the stage for the first time in a year and a half on Saturday, joining Ed Sheeran for a surprise performance in Toronto, Canada.
A video shared by Twitter user @bubblinmendes shows Mendes, 24, and Sheeran, 32, on stage at the Rogers Centre in Toronto on Saturday. The pair sang Sheerans 2011 song, “Lego House” and Mendess 2017 single “Theres Nothing Holdin Me Back.”
Mendes canceled his Wonder: The World Tour last year citing his mental health. Last month he released the new single “What the Hell Are We Dying For?” in response to wildfires raging across his home country of Canada.
