Christina Applegate received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, in her first public appearance since her multiple sclerosis diagnosis.
Applegate was joined at the ceremony by her “Married… With Children” costars Katey Sagal, who played Peg Bundy alongside Applegates Kelly Bundy, and David Faustino, who played her brother Bud. The sitcom ran from 1987 to 1997.
A TikTok video shared by Los Angeles Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell shows a seated, barefoot Applegate react to her star being revealed.
“Thank you Christina for being an inspiration to all of us and bringing smiles to our faces,” OFarrell wrote alongside the video. “We are proud to celebrate you!”
Applegate, 50, was diagnosed with MS while filming the third season of the Emmy-nominated Netflix series “Dead to Me.” Costar Linda Cardellini and series creator Liz Feldman also attended the ceremony.
Applegate recently suggested “Dead to Me” may be her last acting role. The shows final season premieres Nov. 17.
