Flavor Flav gifted Best Original Song Oscar winner Billie Eilish a custom Barbie-themed clock necklace with her name printed in the classic Barbie font.
Eilish and her brother and music partner Finneas O’Connellwon Academy Award for Best Original Song on Sunday night for the Barbie soundtrack song What Was I Made For.
The Public Enemy rapper, 64, met up with Eilish at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles, and presented her with a Barbie version of his iconic clock necklace.
In a video clip shared on social media, Eilish, 22, could be seen screaming as the gift was revealed. She then took photos with the famous rapper, who was wearing his own Barbie-themed clock necklace printed with his name.
The Grammy-winning brother-sister duo beat out another Barbie song, Im Just Ken, as well as “The Fire Inside” from Flamin Hot, “It Never Went Away” from American Symphony, and Wahzhazhe (A Song for My People) from Killers of the Flower Moon.
I had a nightmare about this last night, Eilish said as accepted the award. I didn’t think this would happen, I wasn’t expecting this. I feel so incredibly lucky and honored.
She thanked the Academy, director Greta Gerwig, and even thanked her childhood dance and music instructors.
I want to thank like my dance teachers growing up. I want to thank my choir teachers — Ms. Bringham, thanks for believing in me. Ms. T, you didnt like me but you were good at your job, she joked.
The win is the second for the pair, after taking home the Best Original Song Oscar in 2022 for No Time to Die from the James Bond film of the same name.
