Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, have announced their next two Netflix projects through their company, Archewell Productions.
The royals will be producing two non-fiction series under the overall deal between Archewell Productions and the streamer, which was first inked in 2020. Deadline was the first to report the news.
The first series will be centered on the Duchess, 42-year-old Meghan Markle, focused on cooking, gardening and entertaining. The series will be directed by Michael Steed, previously of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, with Leah Hariton of Selena + Chef as showrunner.
The move comes after Meghan quietly launched the lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard.
The second series, centered on Harry, 39, will be focused on professional polo, a sport the prince has played for much of his life, often participating in charity matches.
The series will be filmed mainly at the U.S. Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Fla., and will pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level, according to a statement.
The series will be produced by Boardwalk Pictures, the company behind Netflix’s Chef’s Table, with showrunner Miloš Balać, who previously worked on Welcome to Wrexham.
