Taylor Swift Explains Almost Bringing A Young Fan Onstage, Performs With Maren Morris During Chicago Eras Tour

Taylor Swift tried to bring a young fan on stage at her Eras Tour performance in Chicago Saturday night, before thinking better of it.
A video shared by Twitter user @japrilss shows the 33-year-old Grammy winner on stage at Chicagos Soldier Field Saturday night, explaining that she handed a hat to a young fan during “22,” and encouraged her to come on stage.
“And then I remembered we dont have a safe way to get her off the stage,” Swift said of the unplanned moment.
“My brain went completely blank,” Swift said. “I was just like, Youre so sweet and cute, come up on the stage. She was confused. I was confused. So if anybody else was confused, that was because that child was so adorable that I tried to make her a part of the show.”
Swift remarked that there were a lot of “passionate performances happening in the audience.”
Another clip shows Swift sharing the stage with Maren Morris for a performance of “You All Over Me.”
Swifts sold-out Eras Tour is supporting all her albums, not only the latest, “Midnights.” Due to the pandemic, Swift was unable to tour in support of 2019s “Lover,” or 2020s “Folklore” and “Evermore.”
