Crew Member Dies In Accident On Set Of Marvel’s ‘Wonder Man’

A crew member died Tuesday in an accident on the set of Marvel Studios’ Wonder Man, per reports.
A rigger working on the set of Wonder Man at Radford Studios fell from the rafters Tuesday and died, Deadline reported.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family and friends, and our support is behind the investigation into the circumstances of this accident, a Marvel spokesperson said in a statement.
Wonder Man was not filming at the time of the accident Production is scheduled to start next month after being delayed by the Hollywood strikes last year.
The series from Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest is set to star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, who becomes the titular Wonder Man. Ben Kingsley will reprise his role as Trevor Slattery from Iron Man 3.
The Disney Plus series will follow Williams, the son and heir of a wealthy industrialist, as he goes to the villain Baron Zemo for help after his company loses out to Tony stark’s Stark Industries. Williams is given his superpowers, and Zemo tells him to trick the Avengers, but he joins them instead.
